Public Business subscriptions and Ecommerce enrollment are coming soon. Existing authorized Business testers may use enabled functions. This page states approved access and retention rules; it does not offer a subscription, publish an unapproved subscription price or enroll a business in Ecommerce.

Business responsibilities

Owners manage accurate business information, inventory, copy condition, publication settings and employee/terminal authorization. Each store may access only its own records. Inform employees and customers of applicable data handling. The Privacy Policy covers Business information as well as Personal accounts.

Subscriptions and cancellation

Before any paid enrollment, the checkout must disclose the approved price, features, billing cycle, add-ons, taxes, trial conversion and renewal terms. Operator-granted testing access is separate from a paid subscription. Cancel renewal through the billing controls or contact support. Voluntary cancellation retains access through the already-paid period, then switches to Personal access without another grace period. There are no partial-period refunds except payment errors or refunds required by law.

Failed payments and terminals

Failed payments allow three business days of full access with daily email notices. Count Monday–Friday excluding observed US federal holidays, in Eastern time; the failed-payment day does not count. Access ends at midnight following the third qualifying day. Terminals display the actual removal date. Restoring good standing ends the notice and restores authorized access.

After cutoff, staff terminal and Business-only actions stop. Enrollment and configuration are preserved for reactivation. A cancellation scheduled for the paid period's end shows scheduled expiration rather than an already-expired license.

Personal fallback and retained records

When Business access ends, the same account uses the Personal view and normal Personal actions and limits. Business data remains stored; Business-only information and operations are restricted. Restoring good standing restores Business access without inventory loss if cleanup has not occurred. Public catalogue and book links show a store-unavailable notice rather than private retained inventory.

The owner retains limited access for existing paid orders, returns and settlement obligations. This allows completion of existing obligations, not new sales. Contact support for settlement processes not available in the app. Owner-only retained-inventory export contains exactly Book Title, Author and the readable Unique Book ID printed on labels; it includes no prices, costs or transactions.

Inactivity and historical records

A subscription in good standing protects inventory from inactivity cleanup. After access ends, count 24 inactive months from the later of access ending or last sign-in. Later sign-ins restart the clock. A delivered 60-day advance email permits sign-in to cancel cleanup. Outstanding obligations protect required records. An account with unused purchased credits is preserved under the Personal rule.

Inventory already deleted through cleanup cannot be restored by resubscribing. Restricted legally needed financial records may remain. Historical sale facts are stripped of identifying account/store/customer/employee links; external data products use only combined anonymous statistics. Backup and other retention follows the Privacy Policy.

Ecommerce and consumer protections

Ecommerce uses one Ecommerce Policy / Agreement for enabled Basic and Premium features. Enrollment remains closed until commercial terms, service scope and real-world testing are approved. Future marketplace listings and managed shipping must not be assumed available. Nothing on this page removes rights or remedies required by law.
